FoundIt Review and Giveaway!

I am sure I am not alone in the fact that I lose things all the time. I am also sure I am not the only person to leave things in restaurant booths or on the checkout counter at stores. I guess I am lucky we don’t have public transportation here or all my stuff would be left on the bus or train. I never lose stupid stuff either. I always lose important stuff like my house keys, my phone, or my wallet. I am very very lucky in the fact that almost always I have noticed before we got too far and called to make sure they would hold it for me.

That is why it is soooo awesome that I got to review FoundIt!!! What is FoundIt?

We all lose stuff. At FoundIt, we help you get it back. That’s it in a nutshell.
We know how it feels to lose something important. So we started FoundIt™ as a lost and found that connects the Finder and the Owner (the FoundIt™ member) instantly. We are a lost item retrieval network. It works great for anything that’s easily lost but hard to replace, like phones, and laptops, keys and cameras, jackets and tennis rackets. (All while keeping your private information private.) It’s a simple way for people to return your lost items.
When you sign up for an account, we’ll send you labels/stickers with your unique FoundIt ID. (You only need to register once; the ID is yours for life.) Then, if you ever lose something with your FoundIt ID in a taxi, on a trail, or in a restaurant, the good people who find it have a simple way to get it back to you. (Click here to find out How It Works.)
We believe in your privacy and being honest and up-front with our members. We’ll never sell, rent or otherwise abuse your trust or your information. No ads or sneaky cookies. No following you around town to see what kind of ice cream you buy. (In case you’re curious, we love strawberry.)
The best part? It costs less than two lattes per year. (You’re welcome.) After that still That is pretty cheap, and WAY less than replacing a computer or cell phone or even a crappy old McEnroe style tennis racket.
So say you lose something but you have a FoundIt sticker on it. Someone finds it, reports it by entering your code either online at Foundit.net or by text message. Then FoundIt notifies you by text and email. You get your stuff back  :)  Happy ending!
I got the MacDaddy package which includes all of this:

  • 4 years access to FoundIt Network
  • Set of 62 stickers
  • 2 key tags
  • 3 bag tags
  • 1 luggage tag/ID card
  • 2 round tags (pet tag)
I love FoundIt. My husband actually accused me of being crazy with my FoundIt stickers. I even placed a few on things I dont own like my mom’s camera, her phone, and my mom’s cigarette case. I figured I would be the one that gets called to help her find it so I might as well be preemptive.  I even put some on things like our big screen on the bottom where the code is. So if someone breaks in they may not notice it and they may sell it to a pawn shop who will see the code and maybe try to reunite me with my stuff.  See? I am FoundIt crazy. I put it on our phones, cameras, ipod, laptop, my son’s DS, my purses, my husband’s man bag, the diaper bag, the list goes on and on. I have had the FoundIt package for 3 weeks now but I have been putting off my review. This is very sad on my part but I was kinda hoping to lose something. Crazy much? Yeah, I know.
Right now FoundIt is offering my readers a discount on any FoundIt package just by using code GenOfSavings when they check out!

Wanna check out FoundIt? Wanna get your own package? You can check out their website FoundIt.net or you can visit them here on their Facebook page.  They also have a Twitter account you can follow.
