Back when I was first starting to get my weight on track, one of the problems I had with working out, or one of my excuses really, was that I didn't really have the clothes for it. I'd go to a store and be overwhelmed with all of these options and then people staring, it was just not fun and uncomfortable. I recently found out about Sweaty Betty which is a website that is nothing but workout clothes. Not just one type either, they have workout apparel, yoga wear, running attire and even swim wear. So there are plenty of options for any type of workout you might want to do.
If you don't want to stay in one type of style, though, you can just browse through the tops or bottoms and pick from there. I'm personally a huge fan of yoga pants, it's pretty much what I lived in for the tail end of my last pregnancy. I can find all kinds of yoga clothes on the Sweaty Betty site. Another huge plus is the line of sports bras. There are plenty of styles and colors to choose from. I love sports bras. I know that is weird but I just like how snug they are.
Recently I've started doing some 5Ks, the really fun ones like the night Glow Run in ATL, the Color Run, and I really want to try the Electric Run coming up. I've had a lot of fun with the few I've been able to do so far. Sweaty Betty has a line of running gear that I'll be looking to get some things from. There's one ladies running jacket I'm in love with (it's the colorful Ultra Run jacket if you were wondering) that I would probably wear everywhere as soon as I can get my hands on it. This way the next 5K that I run (let’s be honest here, walk) in I'll be the most stylish lady sweating my way to the finish line.
Once you pick out what you want to buy, and get it in the mail you can come back to the website and check out the get fit 4 free and check out the blogs and workout videos. That way you can wear your Sweaty Betty clothes in the privacy of your own home once it starts getting too cold. Also so you don't have to pay for a gym membership, which will leave you more money to buy more clothes to look good in while you get sweaty. I do not know if I could do a local gym with the way I look after I work out. I would probably drive out to near where my husband works.
What type of work out clothes do you love the most?
