Serving up Rachael Ray’s Nutrish for Cats and Garlic Chicken with Fried Brown Rice

I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Nutrish for Cats. I received a sample of Nutrish for Cats to facilitate this review and a promotional item to thank me for participating. #NutrishforCats It is no secret that I am a cat lady. I know some people find that term offensive but honestly I am proud of it.  I have always loved cats. When I was a baby and barely able to talk, I would call all animals like a kitty cat.  'Here ki ki, here ki ki' and I would hold my hands out to them.  Even … [Read more...]

Saving my Back with Tidy Cats LightWeight 24/7 Performance Litter

This post was sponsored by Lunchbox. All opinions are my own.   I will admit it.  I have a problem. I am obsessed with cats.  Its my nickname (it would be my legal name if I wasn't afraid of hurting my mom's feelings). I have two cat tattoos, I have cat posters, I have cat figurines.  Honestly, I have more pictures of my cats than I do my kids.  I am a cat lady.  I have a household of overly spoiled balls of fluff.  They rule this house. A Time to Reflect

I have been blogging since 2011 and I have never really put a name to all the feelings that go with it. Yesterday I read a post from Slap Dash Mom that made me cry. Like seriously, tears, boohooing, the works.  Stop Wishing, Start Doing is what she titled it and I think that maybe if I think about it, its really Stop Whining, Start Doing as it applies to me.  Start doing is a big issue of mine. I procrastinate of course (I blame the ADHD) on some occasions but also I have severe insomnia.  I think its a really good night when I can get 3 hours of … [Read more...]

Because I Love My Cats – Adam’s Flea and Tick Prevention Review

I think everyone has gotten the picture that I love my cats. Cats are a part of my life. If the family dorms hadn't been being renovated, I would probably be a vet now. But that is a story for another day. I have two demon cat children, Elliott and Gambit. They are both inside cats since we moved a few years ago but Gambit really misses outside. He escapes every chance he gets. Now that Spring is here, I am really worried about him because Spring is when the fleas and ticks come out and we are very serious around here about flea and tick … [Read more...]

Interview with Dr. Jennifer Coates of

Recently I got the chance to interview Dr. Jennifer Coates with She was extremely nice and talked to me about common myths about cats. She was so knowledgeable, I wish I could have talked to her forever. I am a big cat person so I have heard a bunch of them. This was my first interview so I wasn't sure how to get started.
