Hasbro’s Fall Toy Party

There are few things my kids love more than a party, and one of those is a party all about toys. Hasbro was kind enough to send me a select group of toys to try out and because I decided the most fun I could have was a party with some of my friend's and their kids. The toys were a huge hit as soon as I pulled them out. I'm surprised I got any pictures because they didn't want to slow down playing long enough to let me even point a camera at them. My personal favorite was Rocket Racoon. You can't beat Guardians of the Galaxy and Rocket is just … [Read more...]

Go! Go! Smart Animals are Tons of Fun!

Go! Go! Smart Animals Forest Adventure Playset

My son turned four today.  I am utterly amazed that it has been that long. I remember being at the doctor telling them that I either had the flu or I was dying.  Nope. I was pregnant. Barely four weeks pregnant to be exact.  And now I have a four year old.  The best thing about today was the fact that we could play toys all day long.  Or we could play one toy because that is how my son rolls. He has been playing with his Go! Go! Smart Animals™ Forest Adventure Playset™ since we received it.  It is very true that it is hours of fun. Children … [Read more...]

“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Vitafusion. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and promotional item to thank me for participating.” I used to hate vitamins. I know, I am an adult and they are important, but I used to never take any. I totally hated the taste and the texture of the vitamins. Even when I was pregnant I would dread the point of the day that I had to take the vitamins and would always get sick afterwards every day.  During my last pregnancy I discovered prenatal … [Read more...]

Making Milk More Delicious with MilkSplash

milksplash1

Do your kids enjoy milk? Like most children I know, my children are obsessed with milk.  My youngest son has always loved it and he always asks me every day if he can have some choc choc.  That is his word for chocolate milk.  He likes plain milk if we do not have chocolate syrup but he prefers choc choc.  Well, choc choc is FULL of sugar.  When I started trying to become more healthy I looked up the calories for the syrup and milk and it was over 300 calories for one cup of milk.  I told my husband that we had to cut back.  So when we were … [Read more...]

bagelthins

The coupons for free product, information, and gift card have been provided by Sandwich Thins®, Pocket Thins® and Bagel Thins ®. It is no secret that I have been trying to be more healthy and cook better foods for my family.  One of my biggest obstacles is the fact that my parents love white bread.  Cheap grocery store brand white bread.  It makes me cringe.  They came over recently and I had a pack of Arnold Honey Wheat Sandwich Thins on the counter. Between them and my kids I did not even get to try one.  They are thin but they peel apart and … [Read more...]

LUMA COMFORT HCW10B Cool & Warm Mist Humidifier Review/Giveaway

LUMA COMFORT HCW10B Cool & Warm Mist Humidifier

I love living in Alabama most of the time.  I was born here and will die here. If I had to pick a thing I hate about living here it would definitely be the crazy weather.  I fully believe that Alabama is the only place that you can have a tornado on Tuesday and a blizzard on Wednesday (this actually happened).  The temperature is usually steady so when it does rain the humidity is crazy. I honestly can't believe how high it gets here sometimes.  So having a humidifier is a must. We were sent the LUMA COMFORT HCW10B Cool & Warm Mist Humidifier to … [Read more...]
