GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY LEGO-Inspired Video #GuardiansoftheGalaxy

Just like a day and a half until the Guardians of the Galaxy movie is released in theaters.  Many of my blogger friends have seen it (are you following the #guardiansofthegalaxyevent hashtag yet?) and several more saw a prescreening today.  They all say it is amazing.  I feel like that part in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire when the trio see Moody turn Malfoy into a ferret and then they encounter the Fred & George.  They ask them what his lesson was like and everyone was awed.  But then they find out they dont have him until Thursday.  Ok … [Read more...]

All opinions are mine alone. #SmoothSummer #CollectiveBias My husband has always had a bit of a scruff problem.  When we met he was young and had that patchy facial hair look.  Then we got older and he started trying for a full beard.  I am ok with a full beard and clean shaven but nothing in between.  I hate the scruff.  My husband is probably the most awesome person I know.  He works two jobs from 7ish in the morning until 10ish at night.  He comes home and … [Read more...]

The Avengers: Age of Ultron New Photos

AHHHH! Have you been watching all the images from Comic Con? I have and I have never been more jealous that I will probably never be there.   That is a sad thought.  Back to the hapiness though with all the awesome coverage from my beautiful, awesome Marvel.  In case you are living under a rock, The Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to be released May 1, 2015.  All plans for that date are already on hold.  Ok. I will admit that I already have a theme ready for my Avengers release party.  It may involve a choreographed dance by the most awesome … [Read more...]

All opinions are mine alone. #CollectiveBias #Ready4Preschool You would think that since I have a preteen now that I would be used to the sad feeling that my child is old enough for preschool.  I just cant believe it has been that long.  I wont say that we havent been looking forward to this though.  My middle child has a late birthday so he wont get to go to Kindergarten for THREE MORE YEARS! Isn't that silly? So I signed him up for 3k preschool this year.  … [Read more...]

75 Free Ebooks

Do you love to read? How about ebooks? I stubbornly resisted ebooks for the longest time because I think books should be held in your hand. I think pages should be turned and you should get the full feeling. But then I had kids. And I breastfed those kids. Basically I had hours of sitting by myself, usually in the dark, and I couldn't hold the real books. So we bought a Kindle. The rest is history.  I thought a list of great books would be fun so here is 75 Free Ebooks that you can download right now! The One You Love | Paul Pilkington Lovers … [Read more...]

Rocking the Color and Glow Event with

I recently told all of you about our Color and Glow Event that was happening in Atlanta, Georgia on July 12th.  My team was so excited to be able to run.  Glow paint and light up sticks, whats not to love? We wanted to be the glowiest though.  I just made that up so no judging.  I talked to about what the best night run products are and they delivered in a HUGE way! They totally know how to get the night run vibe happening and they sponsored an awesome giveaway before my run!  I had an absolute blast! My team were the … [Read more...]

Waking up to Thrive

I have always been the type of person who would prefer to sit on the couch instead of going outside. I have three very athletic sisters and then there is me, book nerd extraordinaire.  I became a stay at home mom last year in April after my daughter was born and I told everyone I would hate it.  I do hate it.  I miss having something to do.  At home with the kids I cant seem to make myself get up and be on a schedule. I sank into depression after my daughter was born.  I wasnt contributing to the household (in my mind) and I felt like a failure as a … [Read more...]
